Have you tried a little over the border at st Abbs head and furhter up,a lovely photogenic cove called "cove".
- it'll ignite your photographer bits!

Been there more times than I can count. Never seen such a photogenic cloudscape though!
I love the depth of field you've achieved here. that sky almost makes that huge castle look vulerable.
We are lucky living in God's country, eh? - four seasons in an afternoon! Must have those beers soon.

If you're suggesting a trip to the wet Northumberland I'm up for that! Every time of late I've been over for a dat at Lon Benton its been persisting it down! I've suggested to Steve Bowden the possibility of coming over when they come over in June perhaps... It would definitely be great to meet up for some pics though! (and one or four pints too of course!)

My favourite Northumberland castle and very well done it is too. The high sky dwarfs the vast castle and gives a different sense of scale to the usual shots of this castle. Also seems a slightly different angle to the more usual one - and it works superbly! Great stuff Marky!
