About	The mask represents the passion and the dead of Dionisio, the god of vegetation, celebrated in the ancient agrarian societies. Anche se il loro significato primitivo si è in parte perduto, esse rappresentavano un tempo la passione e la morte di Dioniso, dio della vegetazione, le cui feste si celebravano in quasi tutte le antiche società agrarie.
