I see you have all sorts of photographic topics. I tend to open the ones with people in them. This is another beauty.

Wonderful vision. I find this image incredibley sad, that may have not been your intention.
There is lot's in this picture that speaks to me of finality. Half filled glasses and old hand that appears to be pushing away from the table. The gaze of the women, not joyous but neither is it sad but maybe accepting.
Great Art

Lovely and original composition, full of depth and mood. I like the idea of showing only the hand of the man in front of her; this gives a strong dramaticity (not sure if it's spelled correctly...I'm Italian) to the scene. I think that it would be nice in BW too (I'll give it a try below) as I find it enhances the diagonal composition. Congrats! regards, Paolo

..great still hand and witty eye! i think that the pleasant and rich madame have seen you during the shot and in her souls has overcome a feeling of vanity..in spite of the fact that her face appairs seriuos and austere :-)
..love the old hand on the corner and the living colour of overall composition! a great work, Manu! compliments, marco

Manu, normally I am not drawn to photo's of people. However, this has such a sense of drama... There are so many questions on that photograph! Your choice of broadening the border on the left-hand side was brilliant, as it begs the important questions about her partner. Technically, the lighting is perfect, and the overall composition is incredibly balanced! ..Brad

This is an incredible shot and portrait. The "scen" is so "sensitive" with the hand touching the table from the left and her small leaning of her head.... The composition is superb...showing enough and leaving the rest outside! There?s also a diagonal created in there. Excellent my friend!

where do I start...with the glass clarity in focus...the hand from the left side...bodyless...the main interest a tad blurr in the background...merge with the wall colour to a painting...
beautiful composition
Cheers, Verena

Hi Manu, Wonderful picture! I love it! Especially the composition I think is wonderful. The hand in the left corner, glass in the middle and lady in the upper right corner. Maybe the right glass is a little disturbing, just in front of her face... I like the expression on the face too. Just go on... Chantal

Manu, the other one you posted of this was much lighter, this version puts a much sadder aura over it. I have too have experimented, do hope you don't mind. In the previous upload the hand in it gave the feeling there was someone there for her/with her, I have taken out hand by cropping and a bit of cloning, and croppoed to the edge of the table. For me this gives it a different mood again. What a great shot to experiment with. Margaret
