Kita, it was a great trip, an organized trekking tour. We hiked from one village to another; there are no roads so the only way in or out was to walk or ride a mule. Each village had a house where travelers could stay (just a big room with mats on the floor to put sleeping bags on, or we could sleep on the mud roof.) Life there is perhaps somewhat like American pioneer life in the 19th century--grow your own food, terrace the land yourself and build irrigation canals, store some food for the harsh winter. But the dry barren Atlas Mountains are a tougher place to live that lifestyle.

Yes, warmer brown would be nice, but the soil in that area is quite red, gotta live with what reality offers! Thanks--

It's nice. I like the angle of the shot. Would like a warmer brown to contrast the green, though.
