Actually only about 5 minutes or so.. *LOL* I used the magnetic lasso , I need to learn how to use layers but photoshop is not very compliant *LOL* anyway , I learned something new here *LOL* Thanks!

Wow, thanks pam! How long did THAT take??lol...i can just imagine that it wouldnt be easy to lasso the background... i know that there is supposed to be an easy way to do this with layers...im still figuring it all out. I tell ya, that cs software is more difficult to learn than my first fully manual camera was!!

Corrie - This is such a wonderful shot that I don't find the background to be a distraction. I really like the B/W for this shot. The child's expression is priceless. -- Debby

Really cute.. Love both the winter shots... I do everything the hard way, but If you can outline the background with the lasso tool and then use a blur filter , it might work..
