Great image.
I will venture a guess on how you did this photo... the "window" is really a piece of cloth hanging down with the scene painted on it. As for the hands you had someone stick there hands out from under the cloth.
Anywho I would be really interested in knowing how far off i am from the truth.

Rene, I just finished looking at your exhibition on usefilm. One notable thing...I love the way you incorporate so much darkness, with an attention to light and detail - the way you gently capture (or maybe enhance) such soft lighting on the subject or various areas. Like Katie, I'm curious how you created "the reaper is coming"...not so much the hands through the window part, but more your color and tone and lighting. Awesome work!

This rules. I'm insanely jealous. How much of this was altered in photoshop and how many of the picture elements were present for the primary shot of the room? I'm guessing you only added the "reaper" digitally... it's all so ethereal. I love it.
