About Converted to sepia, I thought it looked more dramatic like that.

Excellent lighting and composition. I think the sepia toning does add a fine degree of warmth to the overall image. I'd love to see what a straight b/w version would look like.

Randal, if I would have got that picture back home and pulled it up on my screen and noticed a human silhouette, I would have frickin jumped out of my skin too! But thanks for the idea, next foggy day, I?m going to have to bring a assistant with me LOL
Thanks for the idea and comment

Very atmospheric shot. I can almost hear the wolf howling in the distance. Great work.

a human figure in silhouette would make me about jump out of my skin, but it's pretty spooky as it is.

Brad..?I'm looking for Bela Lagosi to peek out from behind one of the headstones? I literally laughed out loud when I read that. Thanks for the comment. I?ve been trying not to use any photoshop at all, not even recroping, but when I saw this in sepia, I had to go for it. I tried it inverted also? talk about over the top creepy, I might post one like that just for kicks though.

The sepia's good -- it adds a degree of warmth.
I also like the contrast of the trees and the stones -- the hard, geometric stones, and the rounded, organic trees. It looks almost like a battle is going on between two concepts(?) world-views(?) worlds(?).

Brilliantly toned and processed, Michael.

Ok.....you've really captured it this time! This is "over-the-top" dramatic... I'm looking for Bela Lagosi to peek out from behind one of the headstones. I'm actually very impressed with the generous range of tones, provided by the distance...oddly, the further away the subject, the more light. Very cool effect, and you my friend, have a very good eye!

Yup - I think the sepia was a good choice here too. I imagine a straight b&w would have been effective too, but I quite like this one.
