First off let me say- about time! ;) I have always loved your work, and so glad to see it get some recognition. On to the image, I really love its dark mood, the shadows on the face-I love how in the first image the face is pure and white-but once the cig is lit in the second one the shadowy "smoke" begins to consume it. The flame is a very nice addition-just magnificent! Well done~

Yes, that is so good. Advertise easily smoking of fine (legitimate of course) perfectly hand rolled cigarettes. Great presentation, atmosphere and idea. Award is well deserved and congrats from my side!

SuperWow, Dear Emily! great..great compliments for the very much deserved SC. Superb how you are able to create this tonal gamma. A great control of lights and shadows intensity. Last but not the least, the sequence/story remembers me the style of the director Fritz Lang. In his film (30's years) the actors smoke always during the scene and every cigarette leaded new thoughts :-)

Hi Emily, love the controversy in this shot; very sensual, yet gloomy and destructive. Great atmosphere, and an excellent tonal range. The composition / presentation with the two shots, very consistent yet different gives a good representation of the action, but leaving alot to the imagination. Very powerful shot.
