hi, peter. i really used sigma macro 105 mm without any additional lens or filter. i used 2 flash. first on the body, i set it manual 1/1 and the second behind the dragonfly. i set the quality in RAW. thats it. there is no secret. :)

Excellent details and good DOF.

Reversing ring?

Which ever it is, you have done an excellent job here.

A really top photo. I have tried using a +4 closeup filter with very good results, but I suspect an extention tube may be better. Is that what you used here? Also, was this thaken with the help of a flash, or did the sun provide the necessary lightling.

Super macro Widarto!!!!!!!!!!!! And now between you and me........how dit you get so close?????
With only the sigma 105macrolens this is impossible. Did you use extension tubes on it,or close up filters? What is your secret?? Well done! ;O)

This is fantastic Widarto. How did you get it to sit still at 1/60?

I'm guessing a trippod - but i must have stayed so still!
