Love the color of the frame. The tone is perfect and I couldn't imagine finding a more perfect color but I am wondering if it dosn't inclose the dog. I would like to see it without the frame as well. I think it would give the feeling of a vast amount of snow and space and the dog would look even smaller. Just a thought!!
But either way a fantastic job. It sure had me curious wondering if the dog just fell from heaven... LOL

Eccola! premio meritato vecchio mio!! rivedendola, quello che mi risulta armonico nella foto e forse il bilanciamto delle masse visive. Il cane in posizione aurea (talvolta la regola funziona :-) e le ombre lunghe e soffici sulla neve! che occupa il resto della composizione!

la cornice era un esperimento per mettere maggiormente in rilievo i toni pastello della foto. Ovviamente mi interessa la tecnica con cui realizzi le tue cornici (a questo serve UF)...puoi postare qui la descrizione della tecnica PS.

Avevo letto il forum ed ero curioso di vedere questa foto, devo dire che è valsa la pena di aspettare, è splendida per il soggetto, per come l'hai composta, per le domande che mi ha suscitato quando l'ho guardata e per l'aspetto divertente quando ho letto l'about (spero si sia divertito anche il cane ;) ). Riguardo la cornice, che non amo particolarmente, ma è una questione assolutamente soggettiva, suggerisco sempre di usare una semplice ombra che dà un effetto di rilievo, puoi guardare com'è nelle mie foto, non occorre che commenti, basta che dai un'occhiata; se ti interessa, fammelo sapere che ti invio l'azione di PS con la quale realizzarla. Ciao e complimenti per il meritato (e sudato) POD!! Max

Hi Alessandro, I've seen this one before, but I somehow didn't comment on it before, although I planned to.... The subtle tonal differences in the snow are fantastic, and the dog leaping in the fresh, untouched snow is an excellent addition. Good framing, too. Great shot!

this is great!! i love the way there really isn't a trail behind the dog and its like he appeared out of no where and started to run! great shadows and tones! and the dog really stands out with the only black to contrast with all the wintery blues and whites is on the dog! excellent capture! Kessia

The dog is of a friend of mine.
The snow was so much and so soft that he took his dog and launched it into the snow...very funny.
