Hi Michael, That's almost what I did; I used the 30' shutter, but with an f/22 at ISO 800. The f/22 was a bit enthousiastic, but I have a feeling the 30' exposure is too long... I'll post a few soon, though. Thanks!
Cheers,
Hugo
(Hi Mary, hope you don't mind me misusing your photo to reply to Michael...;o))

I think Kostas has inadvertantly started a new class of shots: Triple F (FFF) - Fast and Furious Fotography.

Hugo:
If you have steady traffic or are next to storefronts with a lot of light:
ISO: 200 F/8 30 Seconds
You can adjust any of the above to recompute your exposure.

Thank you Magnus..as you said it , a runaway situation...isn't it sometimes what we all experience? To seek motion means plenty of things, one of them is that one actually is in motion!

Fast and Furious We ride the Universe......I really like this image because of the speed and the agressivness in it. It's like somebody is desperately getting away from something and he/she will take no prisoners. Orange / Black is an awesome combination sometimes

Thank you Hugo, the ID of the image is shutter: 3 min,f/11. I suggest you experiment with different shutters and apertures and then compare the results. Find what you like most, and then repeat the procedure with this, it is a bit time-consuming but it works with experimentations!Regards!

This became very abstract - I'd be hard pressed to guess whence it came if you had not told us. I like the flowing red the best.

Whooooosh! Love the feel of speed in this photo. Great tones, and a very intriguing angle. I tried an exact similar thing a few nights ago, but it's so bloody difficult to match Kostas' masterpieces! I think the shutterspeed in mine were too long, removing the individual beams of light. I'm curious what your camera settings were.
Cheers,
Hugo
