About taken at the observatory at Roppongi Hills , a new modern super shopping complex in the heart of Tokyo. As soon as I took out the tripod from my bag, I was acousted by security guards from all angles telling me really politely how tripods were not allowed.

I've often wondered if I was to carry a monopod and a dictionary, could I get away with it??

looks like you did not need a tripod...the image came out really nice. Love the large window with the view.. the colors are great. the bright lighting creates nice contrasts and shadows...thankfully they did not tell you could not take photos... great work.

The same thing happened to me when I tried to shoot from atop the Stratosphere in Las Vegas.

What's WITH that, anyway?
