About I found this window in The Sisters of St. Joseph Mother house here in London. It is the first time I have seen an image of this event so found it quite interesting. It was first located in the old Mother house which was dismantled over fifty years ago. I would guess that it was made during the turn of the century around 1900.

Very nice Evan, I see you like to shoot stained glass too. Colours are rich, and picture is very sharp. Very nice. Regards, Art.

Beautiful window, Evan!
It's interesting that this event should be commemorated in such a way as it is not, of course, mentioned in the New Testament. We presume that Joseph died before Jesus did as Jesus asked His friend John, (whilst on the cross), to look after His mother, Mary. But how he died we're not told. The important thing, of course, is that we know the Saviour!
Best regards, Chris

Thank you Christine,
The subject matter in this was also of interest as it was the first time that I had seen it dealt with in any art form.
I appreciate you comments.

I have no idea why no one has commented on this. It is quite beautiful with fantastic detail, clarity and rich vibrant colours.
