I'm completely happy with the D 70. I"m in the process of transfering over to shotting nothing but RAW format (cost of memory cards) its so much more controlable. the lens is also great. I also have a Quantaray 28-200 which isn't bad, but images come out sharper with the nikon. i think part of the reason may as well be due to my lack of a good tripod.....
