This shot was taken at Maramec Springs State Park located south of St. James which is near Rolla. I have several other shots posted from there, Beautiful Stream, Morning Fog, White Water, and Rustic River. It is a very scenic place...

Incredible sharpness and tones and awesome motion effect.
What u think about the camera u use? I'm thinkin' about changing my compact-camera and see all around that D70 is really performing.

Hi Cliff, Fascinating effect with the 1/15' shutterspeed on the water. Not long enough to give it the velvetty look (which, BTW would've been too much in this shot) but slow enough to prevent it from freezing up. Very well captured, Excellently dynamic and a beautiful scene.
