About	Burano, the small, fascinating island nearby Venice, famous around the world for its coloured little houses and its laces ... Well, usually all (almost all) the picture about Burano show the "calli" with the coloured houses .. I've tried to make something different with this composition .. Was I able to do it ?

Antonino, to answer your question I think "Yes", definitely - the composition is just fantastic !
I love the low angle you have taken this photo and the maximum depth of field is superb.
But what really makes this are the tones and desaturation - you have done an excellent job with this and it looks remarkable :-)
