I love this cute and old fashioned view! Really such nice fairytale feeling! Perfectly composed and I also think it's excellent how you improved it and "touched it up"!

Ps. Have a nice holiday!

When you show an original photo, is that usually the RAW image? The exposure and colours are always to much better in the images you post that I wonder how much work goes into making THEM look good, quite apart from cloning out aerials and dropping in skies. I love the sheen of water on the road and the "after rain" sense of clarity in the colours.

Hi Chris you call this pictoresque; I can call all the place where you live in such manner, not only here :)

Hi Chris. In addition to all the other superlatives what strikes me is the golden tone to the thatch and how it contrasts with the grey of the building. Simply another of your rural masterpieces.

Super work Chris, lovely framing which really sets this. Great to see the original and observe the differences. You really have nailed PS to a fine art :-)

Great landscape image with a special mood and atmosphere to it. There is a lot of work in this picture after it had been taken. Very good PS work.

Gustav
