Hi Lee,
Believe me you have the eye...I can see it with your images. What I do is take over 200 photos at a time as the first ones are crap and it takes a bit of time to really feel an area out. also it gets me past the conventional view I would have taken if I had only shot 10 photos. At times I really push myself and shoot up to 700 pics in a day then there is usually going to be a good one in the lot. You will know it too, as it is the one that just jumps out at you as you sift through them all. This is where digital rains supreme over film. The development of the way you see things changes way faster and develops faster just because of the sheer volume of imagery you process.

I try things like this and they just look bla...

Boy isn't that the case. Its almost addictive like a fix or something. i enjoy posting and writing, its great, but like everything else we must fit it in the schedule. Good luck on the balancing act.

Like it. what a great range of mountains for a backdrop. Have you started painting yet ?? I doubt it right, with the travel and moving coming up. But you are going to really have some nice stuff to work with.

tim - i really like this new composition. i think the image is alot stronger now as i get pulled into the photograph rather than out of it & i prefer the horizontal feel of this version over the other square one. Great work!
