Thanks for your comment Shirley,this was a big surprise as I have not been very active lately and this image was one from 2004 so they must dig deep for the images.Now it is winter and that range will certainly be snow covered today as we have snow all around with snow hail and rain showers all day freezing out side so a good time to catch up on computer friends.

For a second there I thought I was looking at South Dakota territory or whatever. New Zealand is quite beautiful and this shot captures that beauty well. Good capture of sky over hills!

Micky, the landscape is so interesting with the variations of green and blue, rolling hills and mixture of light and shadows from the clouds. Wonderful image!
The tonal range, the cloud's shadows, the gradient on the sky, really amazing. It all add a real, or unreal depth, 3D sensation to it.

a window into another world...
i was expecting this shot to be nothing in spectacular...but for some reason, it really draws me in. the sharpness, and something about the colors being so vibrant, while not over-done. many layers and repeating shapes and patterns. i like this.
