Excellent Image ..... for first time studio type lighting Andy..... Skin tones are great.. hand and nails are very graceful. ...... Hair sparkles and background is perfect. . Not bad Andy.

Extremely lovely lucent capture. I love the way the light dances through her hair. Her eyes and skin are aglow. Wonderful detail, I can tell it is a Zoppini bracelet. Beautiful Andy!

Thanks George, I'd like to see what the softbox for 420 performs. Doing the makeshift thing is starting to get a little tideous.
Also, thanks for Nelson Photo tip, I've made the mistake of going to George's off University twice now knowing the people aren't too digital camera friendly there...the one guy won't even talk to you if he knows you have a digital.

Looks pretty good to me. I particularly like the basic background, the pose and that the lighting hasn't burned thru anywhere. I'm also shooting the same camera/flash now, having moved up from a G3. I was having trouble with too much light in these type of shots so I went to Nelson Photo over on India Street and talked to Paul and Tom. I ended up getting a "soft box" that mounts right on my flash. Seems to work well. I'll post a couple in the next few days.
