Great portrait of a dignified old gentleman, Rebecca! :) This one is in much better shape than the one I shot - your's even still has headlamps! Great choice to shoot in B&W - you got a wonderful range of tones! I even like that the car is listing ever so slightly to the right - it seems entirely appropriate at it's age! :)

Wow, Gayle, I am surprised I didn't catch that. The guy is in the passenger seat and looks like he has glasses on and the little girl is leaning over from the back seat. Now where is the demonic driver?

I came back to have another look at this to make sure nothing had changed like the Picure of Dorian Gray and guess what...your comments were at 13 so I had to fix that. note to self: stop reading so many Stephen King novels, you know he wrote one about an evil car and the car's name was..drum roll..'CHRISTINE'

LOL...okay, does anyone else see TWO faces in this car???...one is just a partial face of a little girl and the other is the head/face of a younger looking Dylan/i kid you not!..LOL..as for the image,i love the big bold menacing grill/bumper et.al up close and personal and i agree with Stephanie re: the tight crop/rt.side overexposure, but i like this comp best ..gayle

It is odd. Around here we never see old abandoned cars sitting around like this. They wouldn't last five minutes. Anyway, I hope you pay attention to Christine's comment about the blood. I know you're a nurse, but be careful anyway! You never know.

This one has been out roaming the countryside Rebecca seeking the innocent. Look at the blood splatters all over the hood. Where do you find these. Better not try to capture one at night girl. Fantastic relic and the title rocks.

I love shots like this. I do agree that the crop is a little close at the top but other than that it's well framed and well centred. The composition is good. Possibly the right hand background is a little washed out, really though that's being picky! Very nice!

Very dense image, almost threatning the way the car is 'looking' at us...:) Very good portrait of this discarded old timer.

Thanks Andy. I cropped it a little on the top due to a little lens flare I had there.I was facing almost directly into the sun. I hate to try to clone something out, as I'm not really good with PS. I shot this in black and white mode. I have a couple of color shots I took, but they don't appeal to me as well.

Love this shot and the angle is just perfect. The trees and plants around the car really tell us how old this car is. I do agree with Andy, the top is very closely cropped and find that this would be a nice spot to talk portrait shot with people on the car. Keep up the good work.

Where do you keep finding these relics? I think they make great "portraits." Good black and white. I think it is cropped a little too close on top. Otherwise a very cool shot.
