John, Thanks for the feedback. It's nice to get some real critique for once. I took this on a whim in a stairwell, so I didn't have much choice on B&W vs. Color. I'll buy better film from now on though. I've noticed that the max film doesn't yield very rich color.
it's a good idea, but the perspective isn't solid enough to carry it through to the end. the pipe next to the 4 is curving into the picture, and it is kind of fuzzy. also, the color is fairly lackluster (kodak max isn't good stuff...if you want a good print film, try fuji reala, or fuji nph (@320 iso)). although for something like this where the colors aren't really all that pleasing even in real life, black and white film may be the best choice. keep it up, you got the composition enough to catch mine eye and intrigue me :)
