Morning Saeed...Thanks for the comment, am sure with whole leaf in focus it might look even better. I could not capture more than one as my little nephew was me (he got used to stay with me from 5:30 to 7pm) and whenever he sees the camera he puts his face closer to the lens (he is the joy of my heart) ...will try to search for the leaf on the garden maybe it is still there ;-)

Superb composition, it is stronger for being simpler, a colour subject against strong background and with lovely contrast, I love to see a whole leaf on focus, but of outstanding image, Saeed

Absolutely gorgeous colors, Amna, especially against the gray stone background! The leaf has decayed into a very interesting shape, too - grace even in death!
I'm a little ambivalent about the focus... I'm thinking maybe there's a bit too *much* in focus for the best effect - a larger aperture for shorter DOF maybe? so that only the rounded piece protruding toward the lens is in focus?
A beautiful image, nonethless!
