Thanks for the reply. If you can't get the model's permission (release) there is something else that I can do. I work at a college where there are modeling classes nearby. I can look for a model that is as near to the likeness of your model as is possible. There are many guys about so it shouldn't be hard to find one. I'll also show the picture to the instructors and see what they come up with for me.
I would like to recreate what you have done because I like the picture so well. I will have a photographer from the art department work with the 'moon' part. They may be able to actually use the real moon ;^) I will of course have an outdoor theme instead of the theme that you have utilized.
I would like to add in the book credits a thank you (to you - Ethan) for enlightening me to the picture concept of what you had done. Is this alright with you?
I believe that with the services of the artists and models that are available to me, we can get this thing pretty darn near close as to what you have imagined for your photo. There are a lot of professionals in this area who are great at what they do.

im sorry i didnt get to you sooner as u may know that we have hurricane down here in Florida! anyway it's all great now! about the picture! im honered that u are interest this pic for ur book cover, however i dont know if i allow to do that as i didnt have the model sign the release form. he may or may not be allow this pic to be publish and i dont want to get into troble with that, anyway i hope to see some of your work! keep in touch

I feel such honor to have an autor comment my picture and yes i do want to see some of my work on the cover of a romance book. right now im on vacation ,but would love to keep in touch.

Hello Ethan. Absolutely love this pic ;^)
I saw one comment where someone asked what muscles has to do with romance...well..a lot!!! I write romance books and science fiction books. As for how romance goes, believe me, the muscles are all in the right places for those types of books. You have a great model there.
Have you ever considered permitting any of your pictures to be used as covers on a book? If so, I'd love to hear from you in regards to this question.

How's things on the East coast? I lived there for 9 years and then moved to the other side of the state where the sunsets are fabulous and the
lifestyle is a bit more layed back.
