Domo arrigato Shibata san! We found out today that there may still be some blossom left in the north? Maybe at Hakodate? So we plan to travel towards Hokkaido - if we can get seats on the bullet train during Golden Week! We bought our Japan Rail Pass today so we have 3 weeks to see the country! I am so excited. The seaplane adds a human element to this photograph. It also adds scale by showing how huge the Great Barrier Reef is in comparison to the shadow.
Lovely colors, too. The reef looks like delicate lace against the ocean blue.

Grrrrreat shot with stunning colourrrrrs....;o) The rrrrreflection of the plane you are in is an excellent detail. It sure is a pity about the window reflection, but I think you could make it far less obvious by cropping off the top. Besides, I think that would balance the composition a bit more too.
