I am not sure why, but the colors are really muted when I upload. Hmm. Anyway, I have been continuing school and still shooting almost all B&W. I snuck a couple of digital shots in this past weekend. This is from the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C. thanks for your comments and critiques!
Hadn't seen anything from you for so long I thought you might have gotten locked in the darkroom. :) Love how the blossoms seem so soft.......like cotton candy. Wonder how you did that.....DOF? Good one, Sarah!!
sarah, this is great! i have almost the exact same shot. from a few days earlier no less. you found a great way to show the cherry blossoms while avoiding that nasty, flat, grey, sky we had that week. very well done. i especially like the "half" trunk in the foreground. would've liked to have seen sharper focus on the blossoms tho. i really want to post one of my blossom pix but i'm struggling with them due to the sky problem.
btw, thanks for your comments on vertigo. thank jenny for the title ;^)
