GOOD! Very, very good!
The first look goes into the woman. My eyes were leaded by the "hand holder (?)"... next I went to the man sited... The brightness of the banks made me look at him... At last I saw the ball playing by the way the others (man and woman) were looking... The street lamp divides the action from the contemplation... GOOD! REALLY GOOD!

Very attractive scene. Good composition and technique. (Try to use black borders because the image seems cropped). Well done my friend.

Hi Walt, Thanks for your comment! I always appreciate them. As to your enquirey to the Nikkor lens, I'd rather send this by email, but as I don't have it, this'll have to do.

The nikkor 28-105 mm is a very useful lens, on the lower segment of the Nikkor range. Downsides are a the relative large minimal aperture (f3.5-4.5) and it's plastic feel. I don't think it'll stand through the sandstorm that ruined my FinePix S602z.

The good things are its range (althoug a 24 mm would be even better) and the relative low cost. Although I bought it with my F100 as a package deal (a show model) it is good value for money. And, the lens is very quiet on autofocus, much quieter than my 135-400 Sigma lens and the 135 mm Macro Sigma lens.

Hope this helps...

Cheers,

Hugo

Great shot! A hard to get shot, due to your being in the shadow, coming into the light, but you managed it very well. Wonderful capture.

Hi Walt, Very good composition, the three different levels containing different people, each with a different expression and body language. Very creative thinking, and a very strong image. Both unusual and refreshing. Maybe the background is a bit over exposed, but the detail and contast in the foreground is excellent. Very well done!

Cheers,

Hugo

Beautiful. You really caught this shot in action. I too share you love of b&w and high saturation color. They enhance so much in a photography. Wonderful work. myles

Molto bella.....
