Dear Uwe, in that time when I got this picture there was no Photoshop possibility for me and I did try to make visible the clouds by using red filter,

if it were easy to act like ansel adams, he would not longer be such unique, wouldn't he? your photo is also great, no dubt about. a classic composition with impressive greytones. the clouds seems to fly in an endless heavenly ocean. their appearance gave a spectacular 3-d-effect to your excellent photo...

Your image is both wonderful and sad. Wonderful for its rich tones and dramatic sky. Sad because the wealth of detail in a 4X5 negative has been scanned into a mear 600X446 pixels. Oh yes, I do like the framing style very much. Very nicely done. - JB
