Dof, lighting, composition, subjects isolated from bg, no distracting elements, everything is perfectly done. It doesn`t get much better than this, regards, -Jim

Awesome image John! Hard to find animals willing to pose and these two did just that for you. Good work!!!

I agree with you.At first it was a total disaster. Now still is confusing and missing important things. It is infuriating slow, for times ,just impossible. I lost all the names of my portfolios, the pictures were set by that order, now they are at random.I send you one, yes,one comment and discover four or five clones. To indicate speed and overture maybe nice for the purist, but I find no interest in it.Just an added complication. In short ,I do not like the new way.
Regards

Jorge, thanks for your kind comments. I am not satisfied with this new "Usefilm" format; comments don't always get sent to me via e-mail, and it seems less easy to simply see people's reaction to a picture, or even to find my old friends and their pictures. In frustration, I am pursuing other ways of displaying my photos. How are you doing? I haven't even looked around recently at other Usefilm entries.

Being not a birds fan I recognize Art where I find it.Your picture, birds or no birds, have a shape,a color,a story. It is very well composed so why not look at and rate 7 ?
Regards

Thanks, Vikram, for your comment on my Egrets. It was a spectacular moment, actually. Breeding Egrets get very beautiful. How are you doing? I'm not really liking this new UseFilm format as well as the old, I'm afraid. It's slicker, but seems less accessible for some reason. Am I getting stubborn in my old age?

I really like how the two egrets are looking at eachother! Well captured.

Thank you for your fine comments in my behalf. I've lost all of the ratings I ever had on all my other photographs, so thanks to you, I now have a total of 1 rating! Keep 'em coming! ;-)

I cannot imagine why no one has commented. It is one of your VERY best. I love the look in their eyes as they gaze at each other, the palm fronds (?) make a beautiful framing and the blue sky sets it all off. One more thing, I have trouble with, is how well you handled the bright sunlight. It's great! You could also delete it and submit again. See you! ~rhonda
