What up?...when i get my prints back from developer i will see if my almost exact shot came out anywhere close to as cool as yours did...mine was taken on capitol hill district in seattle,wa and is part of st.mark's cathedral entryway...love the lighting/shadows...yeah, it is hard to get an angle on this without losing the arches...thanks for comments to me recently -Gayle up north in WA state

I wished I had a ladder. I stretched as much I could, tilting down a little more, so that i did not lose the arches on the ground - which became the things to capture here, for me, while trying to keep everything somewhat balanced...... and in the end I went with the centre.

Hi Yoshi, I like the blueish / purple tones in the arches. The softness and the creates a cool, almost mystical atmosphere. I think the centered composition makes the photo loose some of the tension, though. Nonetheless a nice shot.
