You might have guessed that it is a drop on a cd, but the difference between this one and most other drops is, that this is oil, I guess that is why the surface looks like it does, it would never have looked so if it was water. My ringflash is a Starblitz, quite ordinary, nothing fancy, and if it had been water, there would have been refections all over, I am very surprised myself, that they don?t appear here. And Yes a ringflash can be very hard in the light, most of the time I have to darken my pictures either by contrast or gamma, but it is not often, that they are totally washed out, well maybe in first attempt, but then I take 2-3 in a row. greetings Jytte
This is lovely. It almost feels alive. If you don't mind my asking, what model ringflash do you use? Mine tends to wash out the highlights on the F717.
