About Saw somemarble images on another site and liked them. Found a marble on the floor at school and had decided to try the Phoenix lens. Here's the result.

Nathan, I used two lights - studio floods. One at 45 deg. and one on the opposite side at about 135deg. No I just used a marble dropped at school by one of our students. If you have some different colors please shoot some pics and let us see them, I don't object to anyone improving on something I've done or showing me new ways to approach my work. Thanks for the comment.

Interesting idea, I'm also curious about the lighting used. Also have you tried this with different coloured marbles? If so I'd love to see the results.

That's a great idea of using a CD for a background, I'll have to try it sometime. The reflections are really interesting. How did you light this?

There's nothing wrong with cheap when you can achieve results like this. Nice use of simple objects to show the whole gamut of prism colors. Very clever eye you have!
