I like this photo just as it is. The two people on the sides are a natural part of the image. The lady on the right is important, there is a wonderful similarity of expressions between her and the lady in the middle. The man on the left provides further context of the situation. Being turned away from the camera, his presence is not in any way distracting. Quite on the contrary: he balances out the image compositionally (heavier black tones and a figure closer to the camera, hence larger, on the right side, two lighter figures on the left side). Don't crop.

Immagine grandiosa, mi piace tanto anche perche' in un momento in cui si parla di non luoghi, in questa immagine si riconsocono subito i navigli (e pensa che li ho visti una sola volta) Ciao Francesca

I agree with Bill Symmons as well. If anything, one of the three people should be out so we can have a more clear subject. I do enjoy the pattern that the books make, and of course the older lady's expression. However, the books are in sharper focus than any of the people--focusing on a person will probably help, too.

Hi Raffaele I was really caught by this picture. Good work. I like it because it has pictures within it which makes it interesting to explore. The piece I like is the woman exploring. I tried a crop just to see if it made another picture within a picture. You took a great shot. This woman makes it.

Bellissima cattura, molto naturale ed espressiva, ben composta. Molto interessante la signora anziana che si sporge per guardare i libri sulla bancarella. Manca leggermente di definizione, ma penso sia dovuto alla scannerizzazione. Rimane, comunque, un'ottima immagine. Ciao
