I tried to set the mood of loneliness but placing her against a plain background, using one light source with no hairlight, using a soft focus filter to add a hazey look, and adding a sepia tone for kicks.
I am in college :) Thanks for the comments Terrence, I appreciate it. I just wish more people would critique my work. It was my first roll of 645 film, so I just had to leave the emulsion tracks on.. I just had to... I couldn't resist.
the thumbnail is deceiving, what looks like average shlock from a distance turns out to be wonderfully moody lit portrait work up close, your plans look like they worked out great, tho i would lose the emulsion tracks and crop it down to square (this kind of presentation screams "college art" to me) excellent work~
