Hi Carol:
First a scorpion goddess, and now a daughter of the wind. Your kids are either going to be incredibly well adjusted -- or need years of therapy! My guess is that it will be the former.
While I'm not sure the solarized skin tones are the best choice for this, it hardly matters, because everything else about the image is so perfectly organized and executed -- the buffalo bone necklace, the dark sky and motled clouds, the tee pee poles, and, above all, Melanie's gaze which seems to take in both heaven and earth in one intense moment. An incredibly inventive and powerful composite.

.....a very intense and dramatic image Carol, but it works for me. I think the stark, high contrast of the whole picture holds it together photographically, and of course the them holds it together subject wise. There is also an element of mystery here too, but not a sense of evil in this woman-- just intensity. Nice work

why have i always been a daughter of the wind? it has such strength, it is treacherous and holds such fury. yet it has the most gentle, tender touch. when i watch the wind. hear the wind or feel its soft and gentle caress, i suddenly become lost in thought and wild wanderings. dear wind where are you going? what have you done today? what are you going to do tomorrow? you always seem to carry me to another plain. a place where dreamers dwell. somewhere your secrets are never told. as the daughter of the wind, i will never grow old. -- Momfeather
