James,
I was going through your portfolio and I found this one. The exposure on this is great as is the composition. On my system here the lighting look perfect so there is nothing to adjust. If I were going to print this image out I would dodge a little around the eyes to lighten them but thats all.

James, This is a Great portrait. The angles and lighting are nice as well as the subject. The details of her cloths can be seen very well. Nice shot.

From one newb to another: Great shot! She has a wonderful smile. Did you take this before or after posting to the forum?
I was in West Africa a few years ago and everywhere I turned, there was someone with one of those ear to ear grins. Lucky you to have gotten a great photo of one! All of my photos came out (or didn't rather) very poorly. I guess that happens when you drop the camera and it opens, then continues to pop open right as you're taking a photo...
