Nice shot! Although I do not fish. I do photograph. The black line is a bit distracting. And the small blob on the left. But oh what a shot! :)

To call my photoshop skills limited would be an understatement. Thanks for bringing it to everyone's attention Larry. :-)

Wow, what a scene! Last time I went fishing in Montana the fish poked their heads up out of the water and laughed at me. But that's another story.
I think I'd like to see more space above the mountain top, and maybe a little less of the non-essential stuff on the right -- a vertical framing might have worked well, too. Dave, as for cloning anything out, I feel safe in saying that photoshopping his way out of trouble is not an option for Bill (am I right, Bill)?

You do get around, Bill. I live a little north of there, but probably get to do this less often. There is dust on the negative, easily cloned out. The high contrast is tricky, did you consider a polarizer? There is a sliver of black on the upper edge, worth cropping or cloning away.

Hard to concentrate on fishing with that backdrop! I love the way the clouds have settled down low on the mountains....what drama they add. Hey Bill, you should let me take you shoreline fishing out here on the islands. 100 lb Uluas will spool you, no kidding. What a thrill. Great shot.
