Stunning. Just to rub it in that sometimes sunrise is the time to shoot. Can't believe the clouds you go too - you should sell this to the Bellagio.

Great exposure to capture the highlights and shadows. Your colors are great. I think that taking pictures can be better and more profitable than the gambling. Great work. Don.

The morning light almost makes Las Vegas look normal- in the middle of a desert ; ) It reminds me that Zion is only a short two hour drive north. Beautiful light in an unusual place.

robert, that shows it was very well worth the effort to get so early. the sky add a dramatic touch to the quiet morning show. and it really looks to me like cardboard and not concrete. well done. regards charlie.f.kohn@sixpence-pictures.com // madrid

Kyle, I probably would have bulldozed the offending shadow-caster but for 2 problems. 1. No bulldozer close-by and 2. We were STAYING in the *$#%/* place!
Yes, Paris is the offending culprit here and my wife was still sleeping up on the 11th floor along with the rest my photo gear, laptop etc. so.............I guess the shadow stays.
What really bothers me is the evening before when we were visiting the Venician for dinner and just to have a look, I had left my camera back in Paris just for dinner time and do I ever regret that! The light outdoors right after dinner was superb to say the least and even though wifey urged me to "hurry and get your camera..." I knew the light would be long gone since it would've taken over 20 minutes to fetch the gear.
Seems like we never learn sometimes. :-( (bet I get flamed for admiting to this)
Thanks for all the comments.
ps. Kyle, didn't see the cash but there were some high-rollers tossing a bit of it around. Maybe....?

Very good angle and excellent lighting The sky is beautiful. What I like less in this photo is the water of the fountain covering part of the building. This is probably just subjective. Impressive work Best regards

This is so beautiful. The morning sun is just perfect for the building, the sky is so dramatic. It so well composed!

great photo. I really like the perspective and composition. The clouds are great, and the brightness of the building contrasting with the rest of the picture really makes a big impact. You should have bulldozed the building that is causing that shadow (just kidding, obviously). Hey, I lost a lot of money in that bilding, you didn't happen to see it did you?
