Richard,
I love your sense of image and your images. Very happy I stumbled across your portfolio. Your titles are so funny and this image is absolutely beautiful so I had to leave a note with it :-). Can't wait to see what you do in the future.

A wonderful s-curve and great sky development. A lot going on here to look at but it all hangs together well.
"Life" is out there, in the public domain so to speak, for us to record. If we attempted to edit or make some things taboo, there could never be universal agreement. Therefor, some will say this or that is in bad taste and others will rave. Art (and I am not saying that I have ever produced any) is totally subjective. I do think that if there is an editorial bias, or attempt to make someone look foolish out of context, then that is reprehensible. IMO, anyway!

Hi Richard, thanks for the very informative comment. So I have the chance to see your Loch Linnhe picture with that wonderful reflection. About loch Laich your are right, my point was on the opposite of Castle Stalker. I see in the way you took your photo of Loch Linnhe that you love Scotland like I do. Bye, Jan

This caught my attention from the thumbnail, and although it's a stunning composition with excellent clouds, I think a ND grad filter could have helped this become a stellar image. The pastels are really nice, and lend a peaceful, reminiscing feel to this image... the blown out clouds up top and the slightly tilted horizon take away from the overall beauty. Both should be easy to change, if you wanted to. Love your info on the image *grin*

Where does the sky end and the water begin? Thats just part of the magic of this shot. Gotta love those camera settings, don't you take a notepad and jot down every tiny little detail?

A beautiful scene. I can almost feel a cool breeze coming off of the loch. On the tech side, perhaps bringing down the sky a stop or two in PS, and upping the saturation? IMHO

The reflection gives the image a perfect symmetry and the colours are amazing. I like the marsh (if that's what it is) detail in the foreground drawing the eye towards the distant boat and dramatic sky. The lighting is excellent, good work!
