it's a very interesting an unusual picture - the blades look like they are popping up and down - glad i didn't let this go past without seeing it - robin

when I first viewed this image in the gallery, I thought it was a piece of glass frozen over with ice crystals...then I see the full size image and realize that it is grass. WOW!!! Incredible! Nicely done, Roy.

Once I get the 4x5 interneg back later this week, I will try a print (this was originally on a colour slide). If that print works well, I may very well be selling prints of it.

Roy this is a great shot. I love the way the frame fades from dark to light. It's too bad you're not selling prints because I would love one on my wall.

Congrats Roy! Stunning image. The water looks metallic and I like the interesting pathways that the blades of grass present.

Hmmm. I clicked before I was done...
This would be a very good platinum print, a contact print from a large (8X10) or larger negative. It would be magical. See Dan Burkholder's work.

Terrific shot, Roy.

This is a very good bit of seeing. The surface-tension viscousity of the water seems to hold the blades of grass together like some cosmic fabric. Thanks.

This was shot on Provia 100F and converted to greyscale in photoshop. A very light sepia-like quad tone was applied.
I intend to get a b&w internegative made of this slide, although I have 36 similar frames on Agfa APX 100. I think the Interneg will be Medium Format.
