I would love to 4-toe-graff this monument, maybe some day as you say an unusual viewpoint and a rather nice shot.

A beautiful, unusual perspective. I've heard the argument (from others than the native Lakota peoples) that this mountain was much prettier before it was carved, but I really like how you've combined the uncut rock with the sculpture. It helps understand how great an effort it was to bring this set of busts out of the stone.

I agree about the use of a polarizing filter being needed and about the want for a bit more sharpness, but it's still quite enjoyable to me as is.

I've never saw this vantage poing before. Nice work!

If you didn't use one, you might have considered a polarizing filter for this image. It would have darkened the sky, and it would have cut down on some of the glare coming off of the trees. Reduced glare gives an apparent improvement in color saturation. I like the unique view, something different from the usual shot.

Teresa,

I like the angle you used. Something you don't see often and I like the overall view giving the idea of the how rock formations are in the Black Hills. Keep you the GREAT work!

This is an excellent shot: I really like the new perspective on an otherwise cliche image. It would be nice if it were sharper though.

Nice image. Probably my eyes or screen, but might be a little fuzzy
I.E. not real sharp. Thanks for sharing.
