I think you did a great job with the shot. What I don't like is the sparkley makeup which totally distracts and detracts from the mood.

I like the strong concentration of mid-range tones here, softening the intensity of her expression. The web of her hair across her face is both energetic and soothing, in contrast to her subtext. Great compositional balance. Strong and interesting portrait.

Wonderfull shot here! I like the pose and the lighting. Toning is great also.b Only thing I see that I would change is the dof is a bit shallow for me but hey your tons better at this stuff then I am so what do I know.

Chris, this is stunning. The other Nana shot that showed her as if she was crying (the one I saw elsewhere) conveys anger and defiance, whereas this shows her far more vulnerable and far more pained. However, she is presented far more beautifully too. Not that the other wasn't gorgeous as well but there an empathetic response I get from this shot that makes it seem softer and more beautiful to me. An absolutely wonderful piece of work (again).

Everything about this portrait seems exactly right to me. The expression is spontaneous, the tonality and detail is extraordinary and the composition is dynamic. It only leaves me wondering why she seems so pained? Great work.
