The qualities of the photo have already been described by the others, so I'll just say what bothers me here. It is the cropped boat along with the deep shadow in the bottom right corner. Even when looking at the tower in the background, I peripherally notice the shadow; it pulls my eye downwards into that corner in quite a distracting manner. And once I'm there, I can't help but notice the boat (which IMO should have been there either fully, or not at all).
I also think that it would have been good if the centre of the circle made by the arc and its reflection had been positioned in the thirds, rather than the top of the arc. As it is now, the crop seems too tight at the bottom. On the other hand, to point the camera lower, you would have had to sacrifice the tower. I guess a shorter lens would have been needed.

Great view and excellent B&W range, this image is very rich of lights, shadows and details, windows line are a guide for the my look and put my attention to the little figure on the bridge that I didn't notice before. Bye Max

This is excellent Patricia! A classic photograph of what I would think of as Veniece although I've never been there. You chose a good title as the lighting is beautiful here and lots of interesting detail. I especially like the soft shadow detail-- Gonna add this to my favs-- and thanks for your comments on my self declared "best photo". I look forward to seeing yours and other!
