About As adults these Flower Mantis all have the same markings but as immature nymphs they seem to take on the coloration of whatever flowering plant they inhabit. This one was on a Ginger plant and when he spreads his arms has the same coloration and markings as the Ginger flowers. Found one on a Red Rose that was pure red once. Taken this afternoon with natural light.
