Michael; thanks for commenting on my "Reflections" photo-art work-- my 1st. I agree w/ your observations re the "too much white" in the frame-- don't know if I can change that or not in PSP as it's part of a "packaged" frame program-- may go to more conventional borders. I do like PSP, but have had no experience w/ PS7-- the industry standard. I may be too deep into PSP to switch now though? Thanks for your encouragement.
I've just browsed your portfolio, and find it very impressive-- your credentials too!-- and certainly deserving of many more "comments and ratings". It seems that you need to cultivate a "circle of friends" to get much in the way of comments here on UF-- unfortunate, but seems true. OTOH, I'm finding the "friends" I have very enjoyable-- commenting and rating is time consuming but mostly enjoyable-- especially seeing all the distinct styles. I find "selling" myself is not my strong suit either. I'd be most happy to add you to my list of "friends" though, and hope you'll do the same for me. I'll spend more time in your portfolio as I have time.
I chose this very nice landscape to comment on because it's a subject I feel comfortable with. This is conventional, but nice, and a pic I would have taken too-- a picture postcard photo w/ perfect composition, colors, and mid-day lighting. The beach and land look a bit touched up, but very well done. I certainly do admire your obvious skill in photo editing, and I've barely scratched the surface re editing-- yet! Cheers. Craig
