Beautiful, but I would add more contrast in Black IMHO! Kisses, Biliana

Metered incorrectly. The highlights on the whites are saturated. Considering the equipment used it is quite understandable.. To your credit, the model you have selected is gorgeous and makes the composition compelling despite the flaws.

I like the pose. But it's a pitty that the dress reflects so much light. Also I have the impression that she is chewing or something. I do like the dress though, and the ambiance created by her expression.
Since you have a contrast problem and I love playing around with photos I have two different contrast versions for you.

The sleeves on the dress threw me. But I bet she has a great accent!

hi..thanks for your comments guys! william...unfortunately what she is wearing is not an indian dress...its a designer outfit more on the lines of western attire! also the model, sophiya haque, is half british...yeah the other half is from the indian subcontinent!!

I was going to comment on this when you first posed it. I couldn't care less whether this is muddy or not. The pose, the image, the Indian dress...this is a lovely mood, and a lovely image. A Michelangelo by any other name. This is a lovely photograph. I like the sensitivity and the casualness of the pose. There is nothing to critique or improve here.
Some of my best photos have never had a single order--so much for art--attachment--not even a wallet.
I love the light on her cheeks and inner arm... From experience, there is nothing more beautiful than an Indian woman--except for my wife!

I can't say for sure, the general consensus of the chuckleheads i conferred with on this one was that you most likely have PS in a color space other than srgb, which is what IE uses. That would acct for the disparity, hope this helps and keep em comin sidd, toodles~

Hi Terrence, Thanks for all your comments! Yeah a strange thing happened..when i scanned this print and edited it for contrast, brightness, etc in PS, it looked fine but looked excessively contrasty and dark in internet explorer..so I had to actually compensate for that in PS. It eventually looked very bright and low contrast in PS but seemed to look fine in internet explorer. Do you know whats going on???

Has a very classic and relaxed feel to it, the contrast does make it appear muddy but that's probably a just web display issue~
