For simplicity, you can even do away with the model and the rug. But yes, simple stuff makes for great photos, and diffused and border-delimited light from the ceiling too. It could be sharper, I guess, I would expect more inner structure in the floor's planks; the JPEG at over 200K seems big enough to hold that, if it exists. It reminds me of an attic I rented for some years. Altogether good.

Awesome light source - wonderful shot- love the comp. Love how the rug compliments and repeats the shape of the window but in a completely different shade (black vs white)... two different negative spaces imo - -

Sometimes simple stuff is better, as in this case. Very nice lighting and mood to this portrait. I do agree about the rug, or whatever it is on the bottom right. A great portrait.
