Well, if you're truly new to photography you have a great future! The exposure is fantastic, i think the best you could achieve in this light situation. Then is perfectly composed with the subject (and the reflection) and the sun following perfectlly the rule of thirds. Great photo! Regards! Lorenzo

powerful image that includes all the nice technical details like DOF, rule of 1/3s and such, but this image is simply wonderful. it has the quality of lighting and that something personal in it that makes this image sing.
