Yes it does make sense Andre. It means an Fx sensor can swith to Dx mode by selecting the Dx field in the Fx sensor. Best wishes

I'm not 100 percent sure Harry, but I believe you still have the option of using a crop factor on the D610 as well as full frame with FX lenses. On my D750 I can use the crop factor on any lens. But, if you use a DX lens it only works with crop factor. I hope that makes sense.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. Right now I am also looking for a new camera with 24 Megapixels like the D7200 or the D610. The 7200 is my fav right now because of the crop factor 1.5

Hi Harry, Yes, a very good percentage of my images is wildlife photography. I love my D200 and still use it quite often. But the high ISO capabilities of the newer bodies make them the perfect cameras for low light wildlife shooting. There are so many situations where you need a high shutter speed in low light to reduce hand held blur. This makes the D750 a good choice for deep woods images or early morning/late afternoon images.
