They put up these poles with a place to sit as upside down "4". Its really a painstaking job as they have to sit on this pole for around 3 or 4 hours. Unlike any other way of fishing, they do the fishing from around 3pm until sun goes down. They do not do fishing when the sea is rough, specially the monsoon seasons. Even in the best months, their catch is not so big. They catch not more than 50 small fish in a day.
Though they create lot of beauty, their lives are not so beautiful.
